We are passionate about opening the world of opportunities within travel to a different and diverse audience and to those just starting out in their career. We are on a journey to evolve and change how we bring new voices into the travel sector from every walk of life.
Wander founder Ricky Wilkes has spent the last 20 years within recruitment and media sales for the travel industry working for international brands and leading global sales teams.
Of late, Ricky has been working in the travel startup scene, training, mentoring and coaching some exceptionally exciting talent new to the industry and he is now turning his passion & knowledge and building a team to help others begin their journey and find work within travel; one of the world's most exciting sectors.

The travel industry has a vast array of talent and is bursting with opportunities. It is filled with unseen people, people like you, who behind the scenes make our journeys possible and bring them all to life. Whether it be the social media teams behind a hotel booking app or the operations people for a cruise around the Caribbean, the tech teams behind your flights to Spain or the sales people for a global holiday review website. Wander will be telling their story and finding fresh new talent to join their teams.

Our workshops are designed to help us get to know you better, understand your personality and what sort of role you’d be best suited to. We believe it’s impossible to unearth true talent just from reading a CV.
Not only will you have a clearer picture of how Wander can help you, but we’ll also give you an introduction to the travel industry and the types of opportunities available as well as offer you some training and advice to help you kick-off on the right foot.
Once the workshop is complete and we’ve had a chance to fully understand your strengths and personality we’ll then be fully armed to showcase your talents to our travel industry clients.
